Last week Jelani Jenkins was named SEC Freshman of the Week

University of Florida redshirt freshman Jelani Jenkins has been named the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.

Jenkins totaled a career-high six tackles (two solo) in last
Saturday’s 31-17 rivalry victory on the road over Tennessee,
including his first career sack. Jenkins’ 15 total tackles ranks third
among SEC freshman and third on the team in total tackles.
