Galloday & Baber produce for The Mount even in a loss

Mount St. Mary's built an eight-point second-half lead but was edged at Niagara, 65-63, Monday night at the Gallagher Center.
The Mount had a chance to win at the buzzer, but freshman Julian Norfleet's 3-point attempt was long.

Freshaman David Galladay had 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting to pace the Mount while Lamar Trice and Raven Barber added 13 points each Raven Barber added 13 points each. Barber added a career high nine rebounds for the Mount, going 6-of-6 from the field. Five of Barber's six field goals in the game were dunks.

The Mount held a 49-41 after a Golladay three-pointer with just over 12 minutes left in the game. Niagara responded with a 7-0 run to get back in the game and tied the score at 53-53 with 7:40 on the clock.
Golladay gave the Mount a 56-53 advantage with a traditional three-point play with 7:16 left in the second half. Niagara's Jones answered with a traditional three-point play on the next possession to even the score. Niagra had a couple late scores and few stops to put them ahead. Late in the game with a few seconds The Mount had a chance to win at the buzzer, but freshman Julian Norfleet's 3-point attempt was long.
